I still send handwritten thank you letters and cards.
Why write letters by hand?
Texting and emailing just don’t cut it; too impersonal, literally.
You can display, hold and re-read letters and have a tangible link to the sender in their handwriting. I have cards, recipes and letters from children, my parents, and others.
Today, go ahead and write – by hand – a note, thank you, card to someone.
Here are three prompts for your letter writing
1. A person in your life of whom you are proud and acknowledge their accomplishments.
2. Someone you wish to thank. Use this opportunity to identify what they did for you and why you are thankful.
3. A friend or coworker and why you value the relationship.
When we write letters, notes or cards and say what we usually do not say, our words touch their hearts.
Let me know how it turns out--for you, for them.
