Little Pumpkin
Discovers the
Big World

Little Pumpkin is picked and taken to the annual pumpkin run. Nervous about leaving the familiar field, Little Pumpkin discovers a world of different-looking pumpkins, and learns they share the same feelings and hopes for friendship. By the end of the run, Little Pumpkin is ready for a new home and more adventures.

(And yes, a pumpkin run is a real thing!)

...fun book that also offers some important messages about adapting to change and accepting others who are different. The story effectively shows children that life changes and meeting others who are not like them can be goo experiences. I love the positivity of the story and children will love joining in on Little Pumpkin's adventures!

Old Oak and
Little Pumpkin

Little Pumpkin grows from a tiny seed in Spring to round and full in the Fall. But now Winter is coming, and Little Pumpkin feels scared and alone. Will Old Oak keep its promise to stay close through the cold, dark days?

Old Oak and Little Pumpkin, a tender picture book for ages 3–8, reminds children that they are never truly alone. Whether their "old oaks" are family, angels or other religious figures, love and comfort are always near.

With vibrant illustrations, lyrical language and a hidden butterfly to find on every page, this first book in the Little Pumpkin Series by an award-winning author is perfect for bedtime snuggles or anytime reassurance.

It's a sweet story about not being picked, feeling left out, and alone, and knowing that someone cares about you. Children need to know that someone cares and will be there for them no matter what they are going through. The illustrations are beautiful. I recommend this book.
