Bedside Singing

Speaking

Today, few of us grow up seeing and talking about death and dying as a normal part of living. That’s where I come in. Utilizing my decades-long teaching and speaking experience, these sessions draw us in and soothe our souls.

TITLE:         ‘I’ WRITE THE SONGS

Description: Each song has its own story. Join me on an uplifting musical journey of the songs I have ‘received’ since I began singing at bedside. The melodies will soothe your body and your spirit.

TITLE:         HOW TO BE A FRIEND WHEN YOUR FRIEND IS DYING

Description: You’ve heard the sobering news. Now what? You want to get it ‘right’. You want to ‘be there’. But how?  Find answers to your questions.

TITLE:         IS DEATH THE END?

Description: Maybe not. What might near death experiences, unseen visitors, and stories of “coincidences” and encounters with deceased loved ones suggest about the transition that we call ‘death’?

TITLE:         CARING FOR CAREGIVERS

Description:  While caregivers are on-call worrying and working on behalf of the wellbeing of others, who cares for them? Discover tools and tips to get through the day. You, too, need love, support and rest.

TITLE:         A MELODY OF LOVE: SINGING AT THE BEDSIDE

Description:  Be introduced to the music and practice of bedside singing. For anyone interested in bringing song to persons who are bedridden or dying, come learn what bedside singing is and how to find or begin a bedside singing program.
